CD-ROM Training - Exam Options

If your company has already purchased the current IATA Training CD-ROM, you may enroll an unlimited number of students in the online IATA Exam for $35 dollars each. Each student who passes the exam (80% or better) will receive a certificate good for 2 years (IATA/ICAO rules).

The online exam -- new for 2008 -- offers significant improvements over the old method of computer based (versus "web based" exams).

• You can now take a long as you need to complete the exam. You can sign in and sign out and not have to submit the exam for grading until you are ready. (Under the CBT method you had to complete the exam in one sitting.)
• Your exam results can be recalled online. A copy of your unique exam is maintained automatically online. A copy can be recalled and printed out if needed.
• Exam questions are randomized from a bank of questions -- no two exams are exactly the same. This ensures that each employee is tested thoroughly without fear that they might copy from a previous test.
• You can take the optional DOT Security and DOT Safety Exams online. Many companies don't realize that these courses are mandatory for IATA shippers. Since your company may already provide this training this is optional for you, but it's there if you need it.
